I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with Otha and Kim at Wilton’s Corner in Sicklerville where Kim and I purchased our first homes in 1992 and where next door neighbors. Who knew that would lead to experiences that would become warm memories and lasting friendships. Otha was easy going, easy to be around, and easy to know. He was smooth with a sophisticated Cool 😎 that was unpretentious, “West Virginia Cool”. My first recollection of him was seeing him out front with his head under the hood of Kimmy’s car. How appropriate? We became friends, hung out at back yard BBQs, Friday night Classic Car events at Checker’s, Eagles - Washington football games on the TV... He was always available for an assist and great to talk to when life was challenging. I’m thankful I got to meet him, know him, and have him in my life the last 27 years. He made my world a little bigger and much better. Rest In Peace my friend. Be well. See you later.
