Condolence: Mr. Hafele was one of a kind to say the least. On and off of the softball field, he made you want to become a better person. He believed in my potential as a student and an athlete and for that I am more than grateful. Although he couldn't be with us my senior year, we always carried Mr. Hafele in our hearts throughout our whole season. I will never forget his face when we beat Conwell-Egan my junior year. He was so happy with that huge smile on his face and the great big hugs everyone on the team received. That's how I will always remember Mr. Hafele, with a huge smile on his face, so proud of his team. It was one of the best moments I had on the team and it is one I will keep in my heart forever. I am keeping all of Mr. Hafele's friends, family and peers in my thoughts and prayers as he was a man who touched many lives and hearts indefinitely, including mine.

Condolence: Andy was truly one of Ryan high school's greatest coaches His commitment to getting the best from his players combined with a tremendous work ethic made him standout as one of the area''s top coaches. His goal of giving his player's an outstanding field on which to play with lights, dugouts, and pristine infield will be completed this year. Andy raised money right to end f his days to fulfill this dream. The entire Ryan coaching community will miss his leadership and friendship. Good bless Andy and his wife and children.

Condolence: Some of the best memories I have are playing for Mr. Hafele at Ryan and on Phil-Del, including the Catholic League Championship that seemed impossible to win. He taught me so much on and off the field, and I am forever grateful for the short time I spent with him. He touched the lives of so many people and is greatly missed. Mrs. Hafele, Jenn, and Mike, I am very sorry for your loss and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Mr. Hafele will sadly be missed. I was fortunate to have played for Mr. Hafele during my softball years with Phil-Del, played against him when I went to St. Hubert's and also folayed with Jen. I am saddened to hear we lost such a great man and certainly someone who has touched my life even if it was on the diamond. To the family I am so sorry and will continue to send prayers and to Mr. Hafele, rest easy coach.
