In Memory Of Our Nick

where to begin... we only have to go to Facebook to see the early pix of us cousins... What a hoot........... Please forgive my written skills, I am much more adapt to flow charts then prose........... as of late we have become a Internet family..... before Facebook, yes there was a life before Facebook, :) we had yahoo groups, not sure how it all began, (senior moment)... perhaps the surprise phone call from Nick, or my Mom sharing emails, but some how emails where exchange and the family yahoo group was created by Nick and I. May 19, 2001 and we became the "ourfamilyacrosstheweb" ... a small family group ... slowly we gathered cousins, and my Mom and Uncle Paul.. I think first was Adeline and Uncle Paul.. I'm not sure of the exact order of membership, Eileen, Bob, Lois, Carol, Danielle, my Mom, Joe M., Paul jr. , Jean, Rosemarie H. ........ it was fun finding each other.... some only with Internet help.... I found cousin Jean on classmates. what a great day that was, we were all so happy to finally locate her... we have enjoyed so many years of sharing with our little group....... Nick and I maintained the group page together, it was fun, just when we would get things in line yahoo would do an upgrade, and we would have to figure out just what they were up to... they called it an upgrade we had other names for it... yahell was one... you can imagine ...lol ..... it was fun with everyone adding photos and other info ...I have recently gone back to read the first messages posted, brought back memories especially of Uncle Pauls' posts.... and Nick and I bantering back and forth with PC talk... we would forget we were on the message board and then take the Techie talk to private email so not to bore everyone ... and then there was IM and vid/cam..... back in the day Nick called me "little one", I laughed and said this little one isn't so little any more... vid/ cam proved that ... we all shared so much over the years, photos of kids. grandkids, pets and creating sig tags for each other..... Nick did not like pasta and peas, we cousins were sharing many recipes ...and Nick made animations of pasta and peas with animated "no's" ...a fun side of Nick.. it's the little things you remember that make you smile...every time I have pasta and peas, I think of him........... and now through Facebook we have been in touch with so many more relatives, our cousins children and grandchildren (boy are we old) .......... With the passing of our Nick, we have lost so much, but I know he would want us all to keep in touch, it is with our sharing with one another we keep our loved ones with us always......... it has taken me days to put this note together, through tears, ....... Nick, my "big cuz" love you forever, you may be gone from this world but you will always be my guardian angel.... love you always.......... "little one"
