WILLIAM P. MITZEL, age 79, a US Navy Vietnam War Veteran, passed away peacefully at his home on February 14, 2023. Devoted husband to the late Nellie E. Mitzel. Loving father to Helene Berger (the late Anton) and Maria Bennett (Richard). Beloved grandfather to Lisa Orlando (Michael), Richard Bennett (Katherine), Gwendolyn Hernandez (Ernesto), Audrey Bittenbender (Shawn), and the late Anton J. Berger, Jr. Cherished great grandfather to Michael, Annaliese, Ella, Avery, Gia, Drew, Shawn, and Richard.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, February 20, 2023, from 9:15am until 10:15am at L. A. DiGiacomo, Inc, Funeral Home, 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116, followed by his funeral mass 11:00am at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.
