WILLIAM E. HARTNER, age 83, US Navy Veteran and former Shop Foreman at the Navy yard, passed away peacefully at his home May 15, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband to Alma Hartner (nee Weiss). Loving father to Kim Tomlinson and her husband, Nigel; Jeannie Bucher and her husband, John; William M. Hartner and his wife, Melissa; and Steven Hartner and his wife, Jamie. Beloved grandfather to Michael, David, Samantha, Johnny, William, Christian, Ashleigh, Kayla, Lucky, and Lou. Cherished great grandfather to Julius, Gabriella, Max and Seth.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Friday, May 20, 2022, from 10:30am until 12:00pm at Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home Inc., 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116, immediately followed by Words of Remembrance service and military honors 12:00pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
