Obituary for Teresa Galliani (DiSandro)
TERESA GALLIANI (nee DiSandro), age 80, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Teresa was born in Colli a Volturno to the late Leonardo and Elvira DiSandro. Teresa was a devoted wife to Antonio Galliani for 59 years. Loving mother to Gabriella Veneziale (Ferdinando), Carmine Galliani (Suzann), Tiziana Boyd (Christopher) Leonardo Galliani, Patrizia Delowery (John), Vera French (Paul) and Angela Grannells (Jeffrey). Beloved grandmother to Marina Sellecchia (Fabiano), Enrico Veneziale (Sonja), Nadia Giovinazzo (Anthony), Antonio, Stephen, and Julian Galliani, Steven and Julia Boyd and Nolan and Olivia Grannells. Cherished great grandmother to Gianni and Lorenza Sellecchia. Beloved sister to Maria Verrecchia, Michael DiSandro, Lucia Amodei and the late Angelo DiSandro.
Teresa was an extraordinarily strong woman who loved to sew and was a seamstress by trade. She also loved cooking, baking, flowers and the beach. What Teresa loved the most was being surrounded by her immense family.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday evening, September 11, 2020, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday morning, September 12, 2020 from 9:00am until 10:00am at LOUIS A. DiGIACOMO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1055 Southampton Road, Phila., PA 19116, followed by her funeral mass 11:00am at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152, Entombment Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum.
