ROBERT ANTHONY DiPAOLO, age 76, a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran, passed away on October 4, 2022. Born on January 6, 1946 to the late Angelo and Elena (Ventresca) DiPaolo. Bob was predeceded in death by his sister, Nance Greenfield (Thomas Greenfield, Sr.) and brother, Dino DiPaolo (Joan). He was uncle to Thomas Greenfield, Jr. (Patti); Rev. James Greenfield, OSFS; Gerald Greenfield (Chris); Sherre DiPaolo; Tina DiPaolo; Rocco DiPaolo; Roman DiPaolo and many great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his nephew Dino DiPaolo, and nieces Nance Gorman and Joni Gillies.

Bob was a faithful Catholic, a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Parish in Philadelphia, and a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote. He regularly prayed the Rosary and said many Novenas. He lived in the Rhawnhurst section of NE Philadelphia where he enjoyed his neighbors. Bob was an avid reader, proverbial “news-junkie,” and passionate Philadelphia sports fan who loved tinkering with small projects.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass at Monday, November 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Olde St. Andrews at 135 S. Sycamore St., Newtown, PA 18940. Burial with military honors will follow the funeral mass and be conducted precisely at 2:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
