Obituary for Rita M. Durkin
RITA M. DURKIN, age 74, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2021. Loving sister to Catherine “Kitty” Campbell and her husband, John; Patricia Golden and her husband, Edward; and the late Joan Fraley and her husband, Daniel. Beloved aunt to Lori Lupinacci, Christine Peterson (Bill), Jennifer Golden, Brian Fraley (Kristy), and the late Ronald Lupinacci, John Campbell 3rd (Heather), also survived by several great nieces and great nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, the late Thomas P. Durkin and Ida Marie Durkin (nee Maddock).
Rita loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed visiting the Jersey Shore every summer with her dog and cared for her parents in their later years.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Friday, November 19, 2021, from 12:15pm until 1:15pm at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia PA 19116, followed by her funeral mass, 1:15pm.
