Obituary for Mildred M. "Millie" Marchese
MILDRED M. "Millie" MARCHESE , passed away peacefully at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for Neuroscience in Philadelphia on September 17th, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Devoted wife to the late Joseph Marchese. Loving mother to the late Linda Marchese and the late Joseph Marchese.
Millie was very proud of and loved her job as a crossing guard for the City of Philadelphia. She also enjoyed working in the concessions and stands at various sporting and concert venues throughout the area. As a staunch fan, Millie enjoyed religiously watching the Phillies and Eagles.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 10:00AM at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon PA. No visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to the St. Christopher School Needy Student Fund at the address above.
