Obituary for Mary L. Katona (Keyser)
MARY L. KATONA, a long time resident of Philadelphia and most recently McLean VA, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020, at the age of 86.
She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Katona Sr.
Born in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late William and Mary (nee Ziegler) Keyser, Mary was a factory worker and office worker as well as a homemaker.
Mary is survived by two sons, Stephen Jr. (Susan) and Robert; six grandchildren Thomas, Daniel, Nicolai, Alexander, Kylie and Natalia; one great-grandson on the way Henry; and one sister Delores Evans. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Monday evening, June 21, 2021, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Tuesday morning, June 22, 2021, from 9:00am until 10:30am at Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home, Inc., 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Mary's burial in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem PA, 19020, will immediately follow Tuesday morning's visitation.
