Obituary for Mary Ann Thompson (DeAngelis)
MARY ANN THOMPSON (nee DeAngelis), age 84 of Southampton, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother to Bill Thompson (Carrie); Carol Calvert (Jack); Jeanne Clair (Joe); and John Thompson (Cathy). Beloved grandmother to Shane, Janelle, Leah, Alyssa, Cameron, Charlotte, Chloe, and her cherished furry grandchild Bodhi. Dear sister to Joseph DeAngelis (Marguerite “Tommy”). Beloved aunt to Donna (Bob), Charles “Chip” (Renee) and Michael (Karen), and the late Joseph.
Mary Ann, fondly known as Mimi, was a beautiful, vivacious, young at heart woman who continued working up until the pandemic. An avid reader and creative writer, she enjoyed cooking delicious meals and hosting family holiday gatherings. She loved to travel, especially to the beach, and was always the life of the party. Mary Ann’s children and grandchildren were the lights of her life and she will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Friday, March 26, 2021, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton PA, 18966, followed by her funeral mass 11:00am. Interment will be private.
