Obituary for Marie Churchville Visco (Schmidt)
MARIE CHURCHVILLE VISCO
Marie Churchville Visco (née Schmidt) was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 28, 1929 and passed away peacefully on December 21, 2019.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Marie’s true passion in life was ballroom dancing. She enjoyed going to dances and listening to live music and truly loved a big band sound. She also loved to watch great classic movies and broadway shows. She loved to travel and visited many great places throughout the US and the world where she danced away on cruise ships. Marie so enjoyed spending time at her home or on the phone with her grandchildren making them laugh.
Marie had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Parish in Somerton.
Marie was predeceased by two loving husbands, Henry Lee Churchville and Philip Visco. She was also predeceased by her parents John J. Schmidt and Mary M. Schmidt (nee Donaghy), her brother, John Schmidt Jr. and her son Michael H. Churchville. Marie is survived by her loving daughter Marianne Brennan and her husband Jim. She is also survived by three wonderful grandchildren who, she loved dearly, Lisa Marie Brennan and her husband Jordan Landreth, J. Gregory Brennan and Stephanie Anne Brennan.
Her family lovingly cared for her the last years of her life. The family is also so appreciative to everyone else who cared for her.
Marie requested a private family only ceremony to celebrate her life and we will honor her wishes.
