MARIE PATRICIA “PAT” BONOWSKI (nee Mills), age 84, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2021. Devoted wife to the late Raymond D. Bonowski. Loving mother to Patrice Wright and her husband, Robert; David Bonowski and his wife, Sandra; and Michele Sochanchak and her husband, Paul. Beloved grandmother to Emily, Holly, Gabrielle, Nicolas, Daniel, Anthony, Victoria, Sophia and Paul Jr. Cherished great grandmother to Alice. Dear sister to William Mills and his wife, Karen. Pat was predeceased by her parents, William and Marie Mills.
Pat loved life and the people in it. She was proud of her Catholic upbringing and education at both Ascension Parish and Little Flower Catholic School for girls where she made lifelong friendships. Being part of the large McDevitt Clan with her parents and brother made growing up fun for her. She was proud of her work in the 1960’s at General Electric supporting the space program. After taking time away from her career to raise her children, Pat returned to the work force working her way through the ranks at ADP as a business analyst to a customer and technical support supervisor for new products.
Above all, her greatest pride and joy was her family and she devoted her life to it. She was an avid traveler and loved sharing trips with her family, especially the grandchildren. In addition, she was a frequent traveler to any game or recital that involved her grandchildren.
Pat would do anything for those in need. Her kindness, friendship and dedication to her family will be greatly missed.
