Obituary for Joseph T. Williams Jr.
JOSEPH T. WILLIAMS, JR., age 73, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Loving son to the late Joseph and Anne (nee Coffey) Williams. Beloved brother to Maureen Gosciniak (Stanley), Sharon Williams, Jack Williams (Donna), Bob Williams, Anne Williams, Lori Kerrigan (Jay), and Aimee Senour (Joe), also survived by 21 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Joseph - known by many as JT, Joe, or Joey - was truly one of a kind. He impacted more lives than we will ever know - whether he crossed your path as a friend, brother, uncle, great uncle, realtor, salesman, travel agency entrepreneur, the unofficial mayor of Ocean City, or as the official Ocean City Santa Claus. He knew what it meant to live life to the fullest, and every day he blessed each of us with glimpses into all of the marvel and excitement that this world has to offer. A hard-working and dedicated man, every relationship he had was cultivated with genuine care and every interaction full of life and love. A contagious personality that attracted people to his energy, Jt "Just Terrific" Williams is an irreplaceable soul in the lives of those who knew him. Leaving his mark from the East coast to the West coast, his spirit will live on in the everyday beauty that reminds us why this world is such a special place.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 9:30am until 11:00am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 40th Street & Asbury Ave., Ocean City, NJ 08226, immediately followed by his funeral mass, 11:00am. His burial will be private and at a later date.
