JOSEPH L. DiMARCANTONIO, SR., age 90, a US Army Korean War Veteran, passed away peaceful at his home on May 20, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband to the late Concetta (nee Costanzo). Loving father to Maria Gray (Duncan), Joseph L. DiMarcantonio, Jr. (Donna) and Catherine Porter (Adrian). Dear grandfather to Tina Brown (Robert), Laura Dougherty (Chuck), Lisa Rocks (Brian), Marisa DiMarcantonio, Diana Kott (Raymond), Emma DiMarcantonio, Christa Carpenter (Robert), Thomas DiMarcantonio, Cara DiMarcantonio, Jessica Thorn, Hilary Pagan (Daniel), Carole Anne Porter, Gregory Porter and Ian Porter. Cherished great grandfather to Max Brown, Julianne Brown, Joseph Brown, Claire Brown, Tessa Dougherty, Carter Dougherty, Colin Dougherty, Hanna Dougherty, Lucy Rocks, Jude Rocks and Everett Carpenter. Beloved brother to George DiMarcantonio (Eleanor), the late Egla Downing (the late Frank) and the late Domenica Ruggieri (the late Marshall). Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing in church Thursday, May 23, 2019, from 9:30am until 11:00am at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd., Phila, followed by funeral mass 11:00am.
