JOHN G. MUIR, JR., age 91, a WWII US Army Air Corps Veteran, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2018. Devoted husband to the late Mary L. (nee Hendrick). Loving father to Gail Montgomery (the late Alexander), Duff Muir (Mary), Bonnie Moore (Michael), Evelyn Lavelle (Robert), Scott Muir and the late John Muir, III. Beloved grandfather to Alex, Kevin, Sean, Greg, Stephen, Krista and Robert and great grandfather to Carter, Pearl, Piper, Huck, Calvin, Raylan, Reese, Remi and Karter. Loving son to the late John and Thelma (Rotwitt) Muir. Dear brother to the late Betty Greisiger. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, June he 9, 2018, from 10:15am until 11:15am at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Phila PA 19116, followed by funeral mass 11:30am. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Christopher Church at the above address.
