Obituary for Hubert M. Wilhelm
HUBERT M. WILHELM, “SCOOB”, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2022. Loving son to Dorothy E. Wilhelm and Hubert E. Wilhelm. Beloved brother to Christine Woodward and her husband, Mike.
As a young boy growing up in Somerton, Scoob enjoyed sports. He was on the Somerton, Danube and Archbishop Ryan soccer teams, along with the Somerton Springs and Ryan swim teams. In his adulthood he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, making a trip to Sturgis for the annual motorcycle rally.
Scoob could often be found working on his project cars, with his weekends spent hanging out with his friends and co-workers at the bars where he worked.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 10:00am until 11:30am at Louis A. DiGiacomo, Inc. Funeral Home, 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116, followed by services 11:30am at the funeral home. Interment Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Hubert’s memory can be made to St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116.
