Obituary for Giuseppe Bucci
GIUSEPPE BUCCI, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on August 6, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband to Assunta Bucci (nee Siravo). Loving father to Camillo Bucci (Angela), Nicola Bucci (Kelly), and Giuseppe Bucci, Jr. Beloved grandfather to Giovanni Bucci and Angela Bucci. Dear brother to Maria Costantini (Nicola), the late Tommaso Bucci (the late Maria) and the late Nina Di Donato (the late Antionio).
Giuseppe was a proud Italian American who immigrated from a small town in Italy, Abruzzi Region, the Providence of Chieti at a young age. He quickly learned the value of hard work, taking on various jobs in Philadelphia including being a part of the construction of the Philadelphia Spectrum, Route 95 and a dedicated employee of Septa for 30
plus years. He was a dedicated family man who truly cherished his time with them. A bigger than life personality who enjoyed sharing his experiences and stories with all those he met. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his pride and joy Angela and Giovanni. He was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of his third grandchild. He enjoyed tending to his garden and spending time with his grandkids.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 8:30am until 10:30am at Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home, Inc., 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116, followed by his funeral mass 11:30am at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church at the above address or the Alzheiner’s Association at alz.org.
