Obituary for Gertrude C. Jordan (Shivers)
GERTRUDE C. JORDAN (nee Shivers), age 89, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021. Devoted wife to the late Thomas F. Jordan, Sr. Loving mother to Thomas F. Jordan, Jr. and his wife, Barbara; Stephen Jordan; Amy Foss and her husband, Bud; and the late Kate Jordan. Beloved grandmother to Christine, Brenna, Steve, Sarah, Brittney (Corey), Jordon (Devin), Jennifer (Jess), Zachary and the late Joseph. Cherished great grandmother to Sam and Miles. Dear sister to Peggy Slotter (the late Raymond) and the late Mary Margaret Cutler (the late Marty).
Note: Due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, the Jordan Family are asking attendees at Gertrude’s services to be limited to family and close friends. Her viewing will be held Friday, January 8, 2021, from 9:30am until 10:45am at Our Lady of Calvary Church,11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia PA 19154, followed by her funeral mass 11:00am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Frederick County, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick MD 21701.
Anyone attending the services must wear a mask, practice social distancing and refrain from physical contact.
