ELEANOR N. DALTON, (nee Reinl), age 79, a longtime resident of Anaheim, California, died peacefully on September 27, 2019. Born in the Burholme neighborhood of Philadelphia, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Benedict and Anna Reinl (nee Massott). She was a dear sister to Raymond Reinl and his wife, Rosella; the late Rosemary Gabriel and her husband, the late Henry; Jeanette Reinl; and the late Eileen Olszewski and her husband, the late Theodore. Eleanor leaves this world a better place having devoted her life to nursing after graduating from PGH (Philadelphia General Hospital) in 1961.
After her marriage to Thomas Dalton, deceased, in 1967, she moved her family home in Somerton, Philadelphia, to Anaheim, California, where she continued to devote her life to family and nursing care.
Eleanor will be sadly missed by all who loved her, especially her nieces and nephews to whom she was always a friend.
Relatives and friends are invited her visitation Thursday, October 3, 2019, from 9:00am until 10:00am at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by her funeral mass 10:00am. Her burial will be immediately following in William Penn Cemetery, Somerton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to www.bingosfoundation.org.
