Obituary for Donald J. Donnon Sr.
DONALD J. DONNON, age 83, a retired Philadelphia Police Officer and US Marine Corps Veteran, passed away on September 26, 2020. Loving husband to Barbara (nee Corbett). Devoted father to Donald J. Donnon, Jr. and his wife, Carol. Beloved grandfather to Andrea Conroy (Vincent), Christian Donnon, Christopher Knobler (Natalia), and Trevor Knobler (Ky) and cherished great grandfather to Michael and Julia. Loving brother to Jeannette Rice and the late David George. Dear uncle to Jennifer Cianfarini (Steven) and Lisa Kepner (Dan) and great uncle to Adrienne, Bianca and Mallory.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, October 3, 2020, from 9:00am until 10:30am at LOUIS A. DiGIACOMO, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116, followed by services 10:30am at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in William Penn Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
