Obituary for Cynthia "Cyndy" Schrenk (DiPersia)
CYNTHIA “CYNDY” SCHRENK (nee DiPersia), age 56, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Devoted wife to John Schrenk. Loving mother to Elizabeth Ann Schrenk and John Patrick Schrenk. Beloved daughter to Carmen DiPersia and his wife, Geraldine, and the late Susann DiPersia (nee Cantor). Dear sister to Daniel P. DiPersia and aunt of Susann, Danielle, and Daniel DiPersia.
Cyndy was a friend to everyone she ever met. A lifelong pharmacist, Cyndy helped thousands of patients and was a mentor to many. She loved reading trashy romance novels, Hallmark movies, and watching endless hours of ER. She loved to bake, visit Disney World, spend time with her children, and relax on the deck with her constant companion, Ginger.
Family was the center of her existence and her extended family was always a part of her life. The relatives, and friends who were “like” relatives from South Phialdelphia, the Dallas crew, and her “married into family” all saw her as a calming presence no matter what life threw at us as a family. She was passionate about the holidays and the traditions that make a family a family. Cyndy always planned the best parties and wanted everything to be exactly as she saw it in her head. Cyndy was a role model of forgiveness, patience, and family values.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Friday, June 8, 2022, from 9:30am until 11:30am at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116, immediately followed by her funeral mass 11:30am. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, PA.
