My heart is broken and the hole will never be filled. Even from 2000 miles away it still felt like we were closer than ever. Chris myself and Bob(Kovack) had a group text and one of the three of us would send some kind of message about something almost everyday. The last two days I’ve gone to that thread numerous times and had to stop myself. We were all in each other’s weddings(Bob twice) haha, and trusted each other enough to stand for each other’s kids as god parents. I dont know how I will get through this, but we have to try and remember how many good times and memories we have. I miss you terribly Chris.....

Chris started coaching baseball for lower south when he was 15 with my son joe Stahl. It was funny because I had to drive the coaches because they were not driving age. Parents complained about young coaches until they went on to win the championship. These young coaches taught the boys how to play and how to be good people.
