Obituary for Bruce E. Horn
BRUCE E. HORN, age 71, former Philadelphia Police Officer, US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran, and former Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus St. Katherine Drexel Council, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2020. Loving husband to the late Elizabeth (nee Linquist). Devoted father to Michael Horn, Eric Horn, Lauren Horn-Offenberger(David), and the late Carolyn Horn. Beloved grandfather to Aidan, David and Olivia.
Bruce always had a smile, kind word and personality that would light up a room. His genuine kindness and generosity were also felt by people he never met, through his volunteer efforts and on-going charitable donations. He is loved and will be greatly missed by so many.
Family and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, January 4, 2021, from 9:30am until 10:30am at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia PA 19116, followed by his funeral mass 10:30am. Interment with military honors will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia PA.
