Obituary for Betty Rogers
BETTY ROGERS (nee Hoyt), age 89, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife to the late Eugene Rogers. Loving mother to Beth Conroy (Jack), Diane Grubb (Edward), Paul Rogers and Maureen Keyte. Beloved grandmother to Alexandra, Sean, Jaclyn, Emily, Brynn, Jillian, Maura, Owen and Garett and her cherished great grandmother to Frankie, William and Grace. Dear sister to the late Mae McCoach, George Hoyt and Chally Hoyt, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Betty raised her family in Somerton where she worked for the local neighborhood physician. She loved golf, reading, and spending time at the shore with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 9:15am until 10:45am at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Phila., followed by her funeral mass 11:00am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cranalieth Spiritual Center, 13475 Proctor Road, Phila. PA 19116.
