JOHN R. HOPKINS, age 75, retired Philadelphia Police Officer, passed away peacefully at his home on August 10, 2018. Devoted husband to the late Jacqueline (nee Hartranft). Loving father to Lisa Heigl and her husband, Mark. Beloved grandfather to Matthew, Grace, Michael, Emily, Amelia, Jason and Celia. Relatives, friends and members of F.O.P. Lodge #5 are invited to his viewing Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 9:15am until 10:15am at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA, immediately followed by his funeral mass 10:30am.
