Condolences

Condolence From: Jeanine
Condolence: On February 14 2018 i lost a very good friend of mine to this disease of addiction. I have not posted much on the matter because a huge part of me is still in shock. Many times when I was sober you came to me asking for help wanting the solution to end the daily struggle... But like so many you were fearful of the unknown in sobriety and what it would take to get past the physical agony of addiction... I wish I had done more or tried harder... I wish I had been more of an influence and instead of pulling away from those I loved who used I wish I had loved you and encouraged you more even if it was from a safe distance. I know in order for me to have maintained my own sobriety I had to change certain friendships with people still caught in active addiction... But that will never change the pain of not trying more
. Amy you were so good to me and my daughter's . You loved them as your own and you were like a sister to me at one point. I pray you are remembered not for the tragic way you left us far too soon but for the good hearted woman you truly were. Your boys meant the world to you as did your mother. You had a laugh that lit up the whole room and as upfront and genuine as they come. My heart breaks for your mother and children.. wrap your wings around them and keep them close to you during this very difficult time I'll forever miss and love you...
