New Memorial Candle Program

We have upgraded our website "Book of Memories" to include a no-charge candle program for all the families we serve. The "Book of Memories" memorial website is an individual website within our website. It is designed to be a permanent tribute honoring the life and memory of your loved one. Family and friends can re-visit and enhance this tribute for future generations. DiGiacomo Funeral Home is proud to support the cost of maintaining, hosting and advancing this memorial website for the families we serve.

Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home is recognized by our industry’s leading newspaper

We are proud to announce that our funeral home was selected by Funeral Home & Cemetery News, the leading funeral home and cemetery publication in the United States and Canada, as the featured article on the front page of the newspaper in its July, 2010 issue. Of the 22,000 + funeral homes and cemeteries in North America, being selected for their featured article is quite an honor.

Our family was thrilled that DiGiacomo Funeral Home was selected as a location for several scenes of a movie shoot!

The film is titled La Méduse Rouge and is produced by Michael Wellenreiter and Adam Carrigan.

"After investigating dozens of possibilities for a funeral home to go in our movie, we found the Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home to be exactly what we'd been looking for.  It's a beautiful space inside and out, and Louis and his family couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating," say Michael Wellenreiter and Adam Carrigan, Philadelphia-based filmmakers who are currently shooting the Hi Def feature film "La Méduse Rouge."

The movie is a surreal thriller about oceanography, fine dining, and survivalism, and will be filming through Spring 2010, after which it will be targeted to film festivals. As more information on La Méduse Rouge becomes available, we will post it here on our site. Information about Michael and Adam's previous work can be found at their production company website:
